Start the journey by exploring the city. Riva del Garda's city core is compact and accessible by foot, and the distance between the two ends is covered on foot in less than ten minutes. You'll see mediaeval towers, gates, piazzas, and promenades on the route.
Climb Torre Apponale
Continue with one of the most incredible views of Riva del Garda is at the summit of Torre Apponale, which has 165 wooden steps. You can view the entire city and Lake Garda from this historic watchtower. Despite the massive crowds at Lake Garda and nearby, you will have the place to yourself. One of the favourite things to do in Riva del Garda is take in the stunning scenery.
Ride the funicular to Bastione Di Riva
Head here to have lunch with the scenery! The glass funicular to Bastione is located on the city's west side, and a Venetian tower's ruins may be seen at the Bastione. You can see Lake Garda's northernmost point and Riva del Garda. The Bastione Lounge and Restaurant is a nearby restaurant and bar where you can dine lunch while taking in the view.
Visit the Museum Museo Alto Garda
Spend your eve the Mag Museo Alto Garda. This museum houses works of art by 19th-century artists and objects from the Copper Age and displays that chronicle Riva del Garda's history.
