Best Months to Visit Orlando
- Orlando's weather only has two distinct seasons.
- The first is warm, with low humidity and little rain, and it lasts from around October – when the Orlando Film Festival is held – to April.
- The other is hot and rainy, and it usually lasts from May to September.
- In general, there is never a bad time to visit Orlando.
- Sunshine is virtually guaranteed throughout both seasons, with temperatures ranging from pleasantly warm – with an average high of 21 degrees Celsius in January – to sweltering, with temperatures peaking at 33 degrees Celsius with high humidity from June to August.
- Because of its theme parks, Orlando is inevitably busier during school holidays, when Orlando vacation prices are at their highest.
- This means longer lines for rides, as well as higher airfares and hotel rates.
- If you are not traveling with children or can avoid the holidays around Easter, American spring break, summer, and Christmas, do so.
- Also, be wary of US public holidays, as the theme parks will be extremely crowded.

Orlando: Food, Fun & Fashion Guide
Ribs at Morimoto Asia
#Food
- This is the dining destination that Disney Springs (formerly known as Downtown Disney) sorely needed and deserved — it's great for both tourists and locals — because the menu is full of crowd-pleasing crowd-pleasers like the ribs.
- After braising for several hours, the pork ribs are dusted with cornstarch, fried, and glazed with a hoisin-sweet chili sauce mixture.
- And if you're lucky, you'll be able to eat all of that crispy, sticky meat in one bite.
Nashville Hot Chicken at Cask & Larder
#Food
- Hot chicken will always have a special place in our hearts (and stomachs).
- And the version prepared at their casual Southern-inspired spot by celebrated owners and chefs James and Julie Petrakis takes the classic components of the Nashville staple.
- The skin is a dark red with equal parts heat, sweet, tang, and spice — but adds chopped pickles for crunch and an Alabama-style white BBQ sauce on the side. (Think herb-free ranch dressing with a sweet and sour kick.)
Butter Chicken Tacos at Pig Floyd’s
#Food
- This bustling, globally inspired BBQ joint in Mills 50 has very few misses, but the butter chicken tacos are not to be missed.
