  • Its garrison buildings, cannon-laden artillery defences, and a fine collection of armaments - including bayoneted muskets, pikes, swords, and ammo pouches - provide a unique glimpse into 18th-century military life.
  • Access is on level ground, with some granite sets to traverse requiring assistance for those in wheelchairs.
  • The battlements contain six 20-degree slanted grass and concrete access ramps.
  • All audio buttons and displays are accessible by a short step going to the barrack rooms.
