- This season feels cold due to the combination of humidity and temperatures. Highs range from 67.7°F (19.8°C) to 37.8°F (3.2°C) in the later months, with warmer temperatures.
- Rain is uncommon, with only 3 to 5 days of heavy precipitation per month. Spring is the second-biggest season for tourism, so it's an excellent time to visit if you're searching for something to do.

The Best Places to Visit in Vasteras
Anundshög
- Sweden's largest barrow is located less than 10 kilometres east of the city centre of Västers (burial mound).
- This structure is nine metres tall and 64 metres wide, and it dates back at least 1500 years.
- People congregated here for "Things" and spiritual rites up until mediaeval times, according to the earliest evidence of human activity on the Badelunda Ridge, which dates back to roughly 2500 BC.
- They are linked to two stone ships at the base of the mounds and the Eriksgatan, a line of runestones flowing from the east side of the barrow.
Västerås Cathedral
- The cathedral in the city was consecrated in the 1200s, and it has undergone numerous renovations and repairs since then.
- In 1958-61, the most recent was although lavish art and architecture from the Middle Ages and Renaissance abound.
- The altar sets are beautiful and were made in Lübeck (the Hanseatic League's capital) in the 15th century.
- Västers Cathedral is the final resting place of King Erik XIV, who was notably insane. His tomb features a Carrara marble sarcophagus on a sandstone base that was said to be too short for his corpse, necessitating the removal of his feet.

Engsö Castle
- Travel west to Engsö, a lovely island where you will find this old home. The lowest levels, which date from the 15th century, are mediaeval.
- The upper floors were remodelled in the 18th century by architect Carl Hrleman into an elegant Rococo style.
- The castle is owned by a foundation, which permits visitors to explore the spectacular 18th-century interiors all summer.
- These rooms are decorated with antique furniture, chandeliers, stuccowork, parquet floors, and 18th-century portraits.
- The castle is also one of Sweden's most haunted locations, with Anders Luxembourg, King Karl XII's "court dwarf," among its ghosts.
Strömsholm Palace
- In the early nineteenth century, the Royal Family visited Strömsholm, which became the Swedish Army's riding and driving academy for the next 100 years.
- The current Baroque front was built in 1681, and the palace was built in the sixteenth century.
