Norra Kvills Nationalpark
- Norra Kvill is one of Smland's four national parks. It is made up of genuine Smland primaeval woodland.
- Some of the pines are 350 years old, and the forest hasn't been cleared in 150 years.
- Here you will find fallen trees, massive moss-covered stone slabs, and enchanting forest lakes.
- A trek to the national park's highest peak rewards hikers with a spectacular panorama.

Vimmerby Off the Beaten Track
- A pedunculate oak near the National Park Norra Kvill in Smland, Sweden, known as Rumskullaeken (after the village Rumskulla) or Kvilleken (after the hamlet Norra Kvill).
- The Kvilleken is Sweden's oldest and largest tree, with a circumference of 13 to 14.75 metres at breast height and one of, if not the thickest, oaks in Europe.
- The trunk appears to be half-dead. Ropes connect this section to the remainder of the trunk. The area surrounding the tree is fenced in.
- Magnus Gabriel Craelius first described the Kvilleken in his book Försök för ett landskaps beskrivning in 1772.
