- The Cathedral of Valencia is a Gothic-style architecture built over an ancient Roman temple that was later converted into a mosque.

- Construction of the existing structure began in the 13th century. Overlooking the crossing are the Latin cross, the ambulatory, and the lantern.

- The Lonja is located in the city centre, in front of the Central Market and the Temple of Santos Juanes, and has a rectangular footprint of 1.990 square metres.
- The ancient Lonja became insufficient around the end of the 13th century due to València's success at the time, and it was decided to create a new Exchange.

El Carmen Neighborhood
- This famous neighbourhood is located in the city's historic part, Ciutat Vella, and is named for the Carmen Calzado convent, church, and surrounding square. It is València's actual historical centre.
