Best Months to Visit Costa Brava
- Costa Brava is a beach and nature lover's paradise, so the best time to visit is when the weather permits a day of sunbathing or exploring one of the nature reserves.
- For many people, the best time to visit Costa Brava is in June or September.
- These are the beginning and end of the Summer season, which means that the weather is not oppressively hot.
- Long days of sunshine and fantastic beach days await you, with evenings still warm enough to enjoy drinks and dinners al fresco.
- We would avoid Costa Brava in October if we had to pick a month.
- This is their wettest season, which could ruin your beach day or excursions into nature or ancient cities.
- Even so, when the rainstorms come, it has its own special charm.

Compartir
#Food
- Mateu Casaas, Oriol Castro, and Eduard Xatruch – former chefs de cuisine at the now-closed Michelin-starred hotspot El Bulli – created Compartir, which is housed in a beautiful 18th-century building in the lovely coastal town of Cadaqués.
- The restaurant's name translates to 'to share,' and its menu follows the Catalan tradition of pica-pica, in which a table orders a variety of small dishes to be shared.
- Modern, inventive plates like scallops with hazelnut and lingonberries or Iberian pork tenderloin with Moroccan couscous will be followed by equally inventive desserts like deconstructed cheesecake with cherry sorbet.
Pa i Raïm
#Food
- Pa I Ram is possibly one of the most beautiful restaurants in Palafrugell, nestled down an unassuming side street in a smart Art Nouveau house, the former family home of Catalan writer Josep Pla.
- Elegantly decorated dining rooms welcome visitors, while a lovely winter garden and tree-shaded terrace provide additional enchanting dining spaces.
- Pa I Ram's seasonal cuisine is as lovely as its decor, drawing on both traditional Empordà cuisine and modern flavors, with delectable must-try dishes like Catalan cod with raisins and pine nuts and roasted Iberian pork cheek with muscat, cinnamon, and apple.
Las Arenas de Barcelona
#Fashion
- The Las Arenas building does not appear to be a shopping mall at first glance. It appears to be a historical monument from the outside, and it is one of them.
- The structure itself dates from 1900. It used to be a bullfighting arena (hence the name), but in 2011 it was reconstructed and redesigned as a commercial center.
- It is now one of the coolest malls you can visit, with a cinema, a gym, numerous restaurants, and even a Rock Museum, in addition to a large number of stores spread over three levels of the center.
- The real gem, however, is the circular terrace on the 5th floor with a 360-degree panoramic view, which is located in Plaza Espaa.
- There is, in fact, a €1 glass elevator that will take you to the viewing platform.
- If you don't want to pay to go to the top, you can use the escalators inside the mall to get there.
