Belgrade Fortress

  • Belgrade Fortress, located on a high ridge where the Danube and Sava rivers meet, used to confine the entire city and has seen 2,000 years of conflict.

Ajvar

#Food

  • Ajvar is a vegetable relish made primarily of red bell peppers and eggplant in Serbia.
  • It is popular at traditional restaurants throughout Serbia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Croatia, and North Macedonia and comes from the Balkans in southeastern Europe.
  • Ajvar is commonly served with Serbian bread such as lepinja or pogaa in Serbia.
