Belgrade Fortress
- Belgrade Fortress, located on a high ridge where the Danube and Sava rivers meet, used to confine the entire city and has seen 2,000 years of conflict.
- When you see young couples arm-in-arm at Kalemegdan Park, watching the sunset over Zemun, all of that bloodshed seems so far away.
- They'll find perches on the ramparts and isolated cubby holes among the angular ruins of the Ottomans' early modern anti-artillery bastions and ravelins.

Ajvar

- Ajvar is a vegetable relish made primarily of red bell peppers and eggplant in Serbia.
- It is popular at traditional restaurants throughout Serbia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Croatia, and North Macedonia and comes from the Balkans in southeastern Europe.
- Ajvar is commonly served with Serbian bread such as lepinja or pogaa in Serbia.
