Piazza dei Signori
- The picturesque Piazza dei Signori in Treviso's center houses the Palazzo dei Trecento, which was built in the 1300s and was once the seat of Treviso's government, as well as the 15th-century Palazzo del Podestà, which houses the tall Torre Del Comune.
- The town council is now housed in the Renaissance palace Palazzo Pretorio. Via Calmaggiore, Treviso's main street, runs between Piazza dei Signori and Piazza del Duomo and is lined with fine 15th- and 16th-century houses.
- It has a number of buildings with decorated facades and lunettes above their arched doorways, despite being only three blocks long.
- On market days in Treviso, the square is bustling with stalls and shoppers.
- The church of Santa Lucia, which faces Piazza San Vito but backs onto Piazza dei Signori, houses the saint's relics.
- It has a lovely peaceful interior with frescoed ceilings and remnants of medieval frescoes on the walls, despite its unappealing exterior.

City Walls and Gates
- Treviso's well-preserved 15th-century walls aren't the first; the city was founded by the Romans, who fortified it from the beginning.
- The River Sile runs alongside the walls, and it was used in conjunction with the River Cagnan to further protect Treviso from attack.
- The water was diverted into canals that encircled the city and were designed to flood the surrounding lowlands, making a siege more difficult.
- The current walls, which are reinforced by earthworks, were constructed by the Venetians, as evidenced by the winged lions on the imposing gates.
- Treviso was Venice's main stronghold, guarding it against northern invasions.
- Take a walk along the city walls, or at the very least see the three main entrances, Porta San Tommaso, Porta Santi Quaranta, and Porta Altinia.

Civic Museums: Luigi Bailo and Santa Caterina

- The former convent of Santa Catarina, built in the 14th century but long abandoned and badly damaged during WWII, has been restored and repurposed to house the museum's medieval and Renaissance art collections. Bellini, Titian, Cima da Conegliano, Lorenzo Lotto, Pisanello, Pordenone, and a slew of other artists are among them.
- Tommaso da Modena's best-known work, a fresco cycle depicting the life of St. Ursula, is the highlight.
- These frescoes were moved here from the now-demolished church of Santa Margherita degli Eremitani in the 14th and 15th centuries and are surprisingly lively and dynamic.
- The frescoes rescued from patrician homes, public buildings, and churches that were scheduled for demolition are a less well-known but fascinating glimpse of Treviso in the late nineteenth century.
- The Santa Catarina complex also houses impressive archaeological collections, including bronze swords dating from 1600 BC.
- Three late-medieval buildings on Via Canova, Ca' da Noal, Casa Robegan, and Casa Karwath, round out the Museo Civico's holdings.
- They've been restored and furnished to show how people lived in the Middle Ages.
San Nicolò
- The Dominican church of San Nicol is a large Gothic church built in brick during the 13th and 14th centuries in the southwest corner of the old town.

- However, the frescoes in the former monastery's chapterhouse are particularly impressive.

Ubriaco
#Food
- Ubriaco is a one-of-a-kind Italian cheese from Treviso, in the Veneto region. Cow's milk is traditionally used to make the cheese.
- It is allowed to age for a few months before being soaked in dry and sparkling Prosecco wine with seeds, skins, and other remnants from the winemaking process.
- Ubriaco has a soft texture when fully mature, but as it ages, it becomes firmer and crumblier. It has a floral aroma and flavors that are rich, full, and fruity.
- The cheese is thought to have been created during WWI, when local farmers used to hide their cheeses in wine barrels to hide them from soldiers.
Conegliano Valdobbiadene Prosecco

- The Natural Park of the River Sile, which was established in 1991 and covers 3000 hectares in total, is known for its abundance of resurgences and woods. The river Sile rises in Vedelago (Treviso province) and flows for 95 kilometers before emptying into the Venetian lagoon and then the Adriatic Sea - Europe's most resurgent river.
- Oasi Cervara is a nature reserve in Santa Cristina, a town in the municipality of Quinto di Treviso, that protects the local environment's beauty and biodiversity.
- The Sigurtà Garden Park, a few kilometers from Peschiera del Garda, is one of the most evocative gardens in the world. 600,000 m2 of greenery, thousands of flowers such as tulips, roses, and various plants, beautiful ponds, a maze of 1,500 taxis, and a 400-year-old oak tree are just a few of the attractions.
- The Valcorba Park was established in 2000 on the site of a former zoo near Monte Lonzina. The park is home to approximately 230 animals representing seventy different species.

Venice Treviso Must-Attend Festivals and Events
- "Primavera del Prosecco" Wine Festival Every year, all of the towns in the upper Marca Trevigiana celebrate the official release of the latest harvest's wines. Between March and the beginning of June, a great festival is held in the unique landscape of the Prosecco hills, between Conegliano and Valdobbiadene, with 15 events.
- In May, Asolo hosts the Fantadia International Multivision Festival. A week of exhibitions, installations, performances, concerts, and, of course, multivision projections by Italian and international artists.
- The Treviso Marathon takes place on the second Sunday in March. Due to its athletic level and number of participants, the marathon from Vittorio Veneto to Treviso with a finish in the central Piazza dei Signori has become one of the most interesting in Italy.
- In the second half of August, the Prealpi Bike-Run Marathon takes place. Mountain biking and running are combined in this race.
- Second week of August, Cison di Valmarino hosts the "Artigianato Vivo" Craftspeople Festival. This picturesque town in the foothills has been transforming itself into a unique setting for the past 25 years: 120 master craftspeople from all over Italy take over the squares, streets, courtyards, and arcades, demonstrating a wide range of techniques and products in a cheerful, lively atmosphere.
- International Chamber Music Festival "Incontri Asolani" This festival takes place in Asolo during the first half of September in the church of San Gottardo. It is a major event for classical music fans, and it takes place in a historically and culturally significant setting: the historic city of Asolo.
