  • There are several unique locations in Pranburi Forest Park, and all of them are close to one another. The vast mangrove reserve, which spans over 800 acres, is a major attraction. The reserve is divided into a few distinct sections, including salt marsh, mature mangroves, and swampy mangroves, each with slightly different characteristics. A 30-45 minute walk along the entire boardwalk in the mangrove reserve provides a somewhat pleasant, shaded stroll beneath the swaying canopy.
  • A small pine forest that provides shade for a picnic area and a grassy lawn that leads up to the beachfront is located opposite the entrance to the mangroves (if you arrive by motorbike, you'll need to park it up in the designated area and walk down to the beach, as bikes aren't allowed that far down).
  • To avoid the hot sun, visit the park early or late in the day. The hottest months are usually March through May, and even in the shade, when we arrived early in April, it was still sweltering.
  • Center for Ecosystem Learning at Sirinart Rajini This nearby mangrove reserve extension differs significantly from the one in Pranburi Forest Park in several essential aspects. First, all indoor instructional signs (detailing the flora and animals) are available in Thai and English because this reserve was created with education.

Take a dip in the refreshing water or go out on a climb up the mountain to get a new perspective of Pranburi. Khao Kalok beach is one of the primary locations in Pranburi for kitesurfing, which is most famous from November through April when the wind is most potent.
