A Sneak Peek into Agadir
- The best place to go in Morocco for holidays that are all about the sun, sand, and sea is Agadir because of the fine, white sand that lines its coastline.

- However, Agadir is also a good starting point for day trips and longer journeys to the towns and tourist destinations of the Souss Valley and Anti Atlas regions if you want to mix some sightseeing with sunbathing.
- Sticking to the coast, plenty of attractions tempt you away from the sun lounger, including the surf town of Taghazout, a day trip away, and the seafront walled town of Essaouira, which is also a simple add-on to an Agadir holiday.

Best Months to Visit Agadir
- The best seasons for travel are spring and fall, when temperatures have cooled to more agreeable levels. The Anti-Atlas Mountains keep the area cool beneath Agadir.
- Agadir receives a welcome respite from the summer heat when the mountains receive rain. The high season, when temperatures are at their highest, lasts from May to November.
- In July, they reach their highest point, 26°C, ideal for a traditional summer holiday.
- On hotter days, highs can reach 30°C and lows at night can be as low as 18°C. Agadir frequently receives winds coming from the Sahara Desert.
- These warm winds don't bring cooler weather; they bring hotter temperatures that occasionally reach the mid-40s.
- Also problematic are heat waves, especially if you don't like the heat. The ideal season to visit Agadir for cooler weather is in the fall or spring. In Agadir, there is hardly any rainfall.
- The wettest month is December, and it rarely rains in the summer. Sixty-three millimetres of rainfall on average.
- If you're planning a winter holiday, remember to pack an umbrella and a raincoat because showers tend to be brief and intense.
